The man was shot outside the liquor store when a suspect in a white or silver Dodge Charger opened fire in a drive-by shooting. According to authorities, the victim, who was on a scooter, ran inside the store seeking help but was shot again by another individual inside. Both suspects fled the scene, one in the vehicle and the other on foot.

As officers arrived, a large crowd gathered outside, prompting HPD to call for additional units. Authorities also reported that the victim’s scooter was stolen after the incident.

The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital, where he remains in surgery and is in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are working to identify the suspects involved. Anyone with information is urged to contact HPD or Houston Crime Stoppers.
