I-45 southbound reopens after deadly 2-vehicle crash

MONTGOMERY COUNTY – All southbound lanes on I-45 at Rayford/Sawdust are now open after a deadly two-vehicle crash that left three people dead and several others injured. The crash, which involved a pickup truck and a disabled van, caused significant delays earlier today.

Three people are dead, including two men and one woman, after a crash involving a van with seven people, including a child. Four people from the van and the driver of a pickup truck were taken to the hospital. The truck rear-ended the disabled van, which was blocking the left lane.
