OUR FIRST REPORT: Aldine ISD mother wanted after threatening to shoot up middle school while seeking bullies
What happened
According to court documents, Walker entered Hoffman Middle School shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27. She wasn’t granted access to enter the building; she entered by running inside behind a student who was allowed inside. Immediately after she got inside, the school’s principal was notified of her presence.
Two 12-year-old girls who witnessed the incident told investigators that Walker was loudly walking in the hallways and creating a disturbance. She then entered the cafeteria, where she approached students and began making threats.
Walker began questioning whether or not a specific girl had been bullying her child. The girl said that Walker said she would return and “shoot up the school.” Other nearby students also heard this threat being made.
It’s unclear whether or not Walker left directly after this incident, but court documents did not report any further actions from this incident.
Through student records and surveillance footage, investigators were quickly able to identify Walker as the culprit.
KPRC 2’s Bryce Newberry learned that Walker is also a convicted felon, meaning that she is not legally allowed to own a firearm.
