WASHINGTON, D.C. – He’s been named an honorary officer for hundreds of law enforcement agencies across the country and Tuesday night, he became an honorary member of another.
13-year-old Davarjaye “DJ” Daniel dreamed of being a law enforcement officer but was diagnosed with brain cancer more than six years ago.
Tuesday night, while wearing a Houston Police Department uniform, he was granted a special honor by President Donald Trump.
During the President’s address to Congress, he made DJ an honorary Secret Service agent.
Following the announcement, DJ’s father held him up as the crowd cheered for him.
