Body of missing 20-year-old Pasadena man found in SE Houston

HOUSTON – The Pasadena Police Department says the body of a missing 20-year-old student has been found in southeast Houston.

Payas Deo, a UHCL student, left his home in The Reserve at Clear Lake around 8 p.m. on the evening of February 8, according to his family. When he pulled out of the driveway of their Peony Meadow Trail home, he would not be heard from or seen again.

Texas EquuSearch and the Pasadena Police Department searched for Deo after he was reported missing.

On Saturday, Deo’s body was found in southeast Houston near Dumas Street, according to Pasadena Police. A medical examiner was able to make a positive identification.

The Pasadena Police Violent Crimes Unit are working with the Houston Police Department to determine Deo’s cause of death, pending an autopsy.
