Teen charged with murder after fatal stabbing in west Harris County

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder after stabbing his mother’s fiancé to death.

On Saturday at approximately 10:46 p.m., deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance call at the Cornerstone Ranch Apartments located at 2002 S. Mason Road in west Harris County.

Upon arrival, deputies found Randall Jolley, 39, lying on the ground unresponsive from an apparent stab wound.

EMS personnel pronounced Jolley deceased at the scene.

Deputies learned that Jolley and his fiancé were having a verbal altercation when the fiancé's teenage son intervened and stabbed Jolley.

HCSO Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to conduct a follow-up investigation. The juvenile suspect was identified and charged with murder. He has been booked into the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department.
