On Saturday, March 1, the Houston Rockets faced off against the Sacramento Kings at the Toyota Center in Houston.
The Rockets fell to the Kings, 113-103.

The Rockets fell behind right out of the gate, as they faced a 21-5 deficit in the game’s early stages. Houston was able to recover—even grabbing a brief 54-51 lead in the second quarter—but Sacramento was able to retake control and hold the lead for the vast majority of the game.
Alperen Sengun led the Rockets in scoring, finishing with 30 points and shooting 10-of-16 from the field. Jalen Green was the Rockets’ second leading scorer, finishing with 24 points on 9-for-20 from the field.
For Sacramento, DeMar DeRozan led the way with 20 points, while Zach LaVine added 20.
Kings’ star center Domantas Sabonis left the game after just one minute, when he appeared to have tweaked his left hamstring. The other starters on the Kings stepped up in his absence, with every other starter scoring in double figures.
This was the Rockets’ third and final game against the Kings. After winning their first two games against Houston, the Kings completed the season sweep tonight.
