Houston man injured after being shot multiple times by son-in-law

A Houston man sustained injuries after being shot by his son-in-law following an argument.

A shooting occurred on March 1 at approximately 8 p.m. at 10900 Cullen in Houston. A male victim in his late 60s sustained three gunshot wounds: one to the stomach, one to the arm, and one to the leg.

When responding officers and the Houston Fire Department reached the scene, the victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he underwent surgery. He is believed to now be in stable condition.

The shooting stemmed from a heated argument between the suspect and his wife, with whom he shares four children. The victim, who is the suspect’s father-in-law, was called to the location by his wife, who feared the argument would escalate. Upon the father-in-law’s arrival, the suspect shot him three times.

The suspect’s identity is known, and units are actively searching the area for him. They haven’t released it to the public at this time.
