According to a social media post, a deputy with Harris County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office said a stray cat made its way into his patrol car while he was on the West Park Toll Road.
With the help of Harris County Toll Road Authority workers, the kitty was safely coaxed out and last said to be “in good hands.”
“The deputy is taking the cat to the vet for a check-up and, if no owner is identified, he plans to give it a forever home!” Precinct 5 deputies said in a statement. “Just another day of serving and protecting—both people and pets for our Precinct 5 deputies!”
