Search continues for hit-and-run driver who killed woman walking in east Harris Co.

HOUSTON – Investigators are looking for a truck driver who hit a woman in east Harris County and left her for dead.

It happened late Saturday night on February 22 around 9:30 p.m. when deputies said Caitlin Von McCall, 34, was walking on West Cedar Bayou Lynchburg Road in Baytown.

That’s when authorities said a driver in a white pickup truck hit McCall.

The driver was then last seen turning onto Wade Road but did not stop and check on McCall, who died from her injuries.
