Houston Police say a bicyclist was killed in a hit and run crash

Houston Police is searching for the person accused of hitting a killing a man on his bicycle on Saturday night.

Authorities said that they were called to 10229 Jensen street around 9:30 on Saturday night.

According to authorities the victim is a man believed to be between 60 and 70 years old.

Witnesses told police that they saw a man in the street and another vehicle swerving around him, but they did not witness the actual crash. Witnesses performed CPR on the victim until HFD arrived at the scene. The man was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

No description of the suspect’s vehicle that was involved has been released.
