HOUSTON – Authorities are looking into what led up to a shooting outside an after-hours club in southeast Houston Friday.

It happened around 1 a.m. when Houston police were called to Griggs Road near Martin Luther King Boulevard. That’s where investigators said a man was at a bar that moonlights as an after-hours club with his girlfriend when he stepped outside for an unknown reason.
From here, police aren’t sure what transpired, except the man was shot and ran back inside the club to get help. Whoever shot him, however, took off by the time officers arrived.
The unidentified man’s injuries were described as non-life-threatening but rushed him to a hospital for treatment.
