The case dates back to March 13, 2024, when officers from the Cleveland Division of Police, 5th District, responded to a call in the 5800 block of Prosser Ave., Cleveland, Ohio. There, authorities discovered the body of 45-year-old Tosha Williams, who was lying in her bed with a gunshot wound to the neck. The tragic discovery was made by her 9-year-old child.
Booth was later identified as a suspect in the shooting, leading to a warrant for his arrest.
The U.S. Marshals-led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) launched an investigation into Booth’s whereabouts.
This week, they received information suggesting Booth had fled Ohio and was in the Houston area. Acting on this intelligence, GCVOFTF members arrested Booth at an address on the 8200 block of Koman Road in Houston.
“Sadly, the senseless incident this fugitive is being accused of left a child without a mother,” U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott said in a statement announcing Booth’s capture. “Hopefully, the arrest today will bring her one step closer to receiving justice for her mother’s death.”
