Firefighters find man dead while responding to boarding house fire call in west Harris County

HOUSTON – A man died early Thursday morning after firefighters were called to a boarding house in west Harris County.

It’s unclear how the fire started, but the Harris Co. Fire Marshal’s Office posted about the incident on X they were called to a boarding house on Sierra Valle in Mission Bend.

At least one unidentified man was found dead during their search and two other people were treated on the scene for minor hand burns and smoke inhalation, respectively.
