Man wanted for series of armed robberies on Houston’s southeast side

HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department is looking for a man they say is responsible for several armed robberies on the city’s southeast side.

The first robbery happened on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024. In this robbery, the suspect entered a convenience store at the 10600 block of Cullen in Houston’s Sunnyside area. He walked up to the counter, pulled out a handgun, and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect then walked around the counter and took money from the register. He also took a six pack of beer from the beer cooler and left the store.

On Jan. 14, police believe the same man committed another armed robbery at a convenience store on Old Spanish Trail and Colon. On the same day, another robbery happened at a convenience store at Gulf Freeway near Cullen.

It is unclear how much money the man got away with, but Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest.

If you have any information, you are urged to call 713-222-TIPS.
