Details as to how everything unfolded are unclear, but Detective Michon with Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division said officers were called to a gas station on N MacGregor Way a little before 6 p.m. and found a man shot to death.

It’s believed the man was shot after a fight with another unidentified man that carried out into the parking lot. At some point, one of the men, believed to be in his 20s, took out a gun and shot the other before leaving him for dead.

Officers set up a perimeter around the crime scene, but as of this writing, he is still at large. This latest shooting also comes on the heels of a violent weekend in Houston.

Investigators do not have much to go by on the gunman’s description but said he took off in a white Nissan Altima with black rims
