Lt. J.P. Horelica with the Houston Police Department said officers were called around 3 a.m. to a wooded area on Gulf Bank Road in the Aldine area, where they found a car in the roadway and an unidentified 16-year-old girl shot to death in the front passenger seat.
It’s unclear how the young woman was shot, but Lt. Horelica confirmed there were three young men in the car with her when it happened.
“They were a little bit older but still, they were adults, but young adults,” he explained.
