HOUSTON – Authorities are looking into how an argument between two men outside a gas station Sunday night in southwest Houston turned into a deadly shooting.

Around 11 p.m. the Houston Police Department was called to a gas station on Beechnut Street off Wilcrest Drive in Alief, where they found an unidentified man, believed to be in his 30s, shot to death.
It’s unclear exactly how everything unfolded, but witnesses told investigators the man was arguing with the shooter before things turned physical. One of the men then pulled out a gun before shooting the other several times. He then took off before the police arrived.

Officials are asking the public for any information to help find the man’s killer as their investigation continues, by calling Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
