Around 3:20 p.m., the Pct. 4 Constable’s Office said both suspects were taken into custody in the 300 block of Cypresswood Drive.
Cpt. Jose Garza with Pct. 4 said the two suspects were found inside an abandoned house. There were also other teenagers inside the house.
“It appears that it was being used as a party, drug home,” Garza said.
Eight teenagers inside the house have been detained along with the two suspects.
Garza said they are looking into who owns the house to notify them of what is going on.
Garza also said the shooting stemmed from a meetup involving a purchase over Facebook Marketplace. Another person inside the victim’s car was uninjured.
Multiple agencies were involved in the search for the suspects and Garza said at least 50 officers were involved.
