Rescued Pets Movement is reaching out to Houstonians who are willing to open up their homes to pets this week during the winter storms.

The organization explained the situation in a post on its Instagram page.

“A freeze is on the way to Houston, and we need your help to clear our clinic, so our staff doesn’t have to travel on dangerous roads,” part of the post’s caption read.

They are looking for fosters for the animals until Wednesday (Jan. 22) or Thursday (Jan. 23), depending on how the weather shakes out.

If you are interested in taking care of an animal this week, please fill out a foster application online here by Monday, Jan. 20. Then, you can reach out to the Rescued Pets Movement team via email to finish the process. Email fostercoordinator@rescuedpetsmovement.org for dogs and email cats@rescuedpetsmovement.org for cats!
