HOUSTON – A Houston man appeared in court Monday after he was arrested for allegedly pointing a firearm at a group of teenagers after telling them he was a “Harris County cop.”
Micah Brown, 39, was charged with three counts of aggravated assault of a deadly weapon and one count of impersonating a public servant.

Court documents say that Brown used aggressive language and told the group of three teens that he was a “cop” with Harris County, because he was angry that they were using fireworks. He then pulled a gun from his waistband and threatened the group.
Brown was handed a bond of $20,000, which he has paid.
