HOUSTON – The National Weather Service says they are looking into whether damage to two homes in the Alief area may have been caused by a brief tornado.

The homes are located on Plumbrook Drive, near Kirkwood and Bissonnet.
Photos captured by KPRC 2 shows damage to the front of a home.
The home appears to have roof and siding damage as well as damage to the garage area.
Neighbors said a mail truck was also blown over as the storm came through. The driver was unharmed.
Video captured from a security camera on a nearby home shows the moments the wind picked up. You can see the mail truck come into view in the right side of the video before being rolled over by the wind.
