CYPRESS, Texas – Severe weather is sweeping through the Houston area this Christmas Eve, with the Cypress area experiencing intense golf-ball-sized hail.
A tornado warning was issued for the region on Tuesday afternoon, and isolated strong storms are expected to continue through the night.

Strong and gusty winds are expected throughout the night into Christmas morning. The line of storms, which will mostly be overnight, may possibly bring some strong wind gusts, lightning and heavy rain.
