Fight between relatives ends in deadly shooting near Houston’s NRG Stadium

HOUSTON – A fight between two relatives escalated into a deadly shooting Friday afternoon near Houston’s NRG Stadium, according to the Houston Police Department.
The shooting was reported at 3:05 p.m. in the 2909 block of Westridge Street.
Police said two men, who are related, were involved in an altercation with each other before the shooting. One of the men were pronounced dead at the scene while the other was taken to a nearby hospital by paramedics.
The shooting is under investigation.
