Woman dies after being found shot in car in NE Houston

A woman has died after being found shot in a car in northeast Houston on Friday.

Houston police say it happened around 6:30 p.m. in a parking lot in the 4700 block of Lockwood, near Supreme Beauty Supply. Employees there say they heard the gunfire.

Officers arrived to find the woman in a vehicle with a gunshot wound. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but didn’t survive.
