80-year-old man killed over grocery store parking spot in north Harris County

HOUSTON – In a tragic turn of events, an 80-year-old man died from his injuries after a brutal attack over a grocery store parking space in north Harris County.

Authorities arrested Anthony Ray Boyce, 57, accused of attacking 80-year-old Earl Hollins on Friday afternoon at the 1400 block of West FM 1960.

According to court documents, Boyce struck Hollins during a fight over a parking space. He was then arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault - Serious Bodily Injury.

However on Monday, court documents confirmed Hollins succumbed to his injuries, so Boyce is expected to face additional charges.
