HOUSTON – Police were looking for a gunman they said shot and killed another man in southwest Houston.

Investigators said both men got into an argument in the parking lot of an apartment complex on West Airport Boulevard and Fondren Meadow Drive at about 10 p.m. Saturday.

During the argument, police said one man pulled out a gun and shot the other several times, then ran away.

The victim died at the scene.

“We’re currently reviewing cameras in front of these apartment complexes trying to obtain a suspect description,” said Lt. Riley with the Houston Police Department.

It’s unclear why the men were arguing.
