A local restaurant has released security footage showing three robbers crawling across the floor after breaking in to steal liquor.
The heist happened at around 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning at Bollo Woodfired Pizza, a restaurant and bar on W Alabama St. in Houston.

“It’s such an inconvenience, for a small business like ours to deal with this,” Ray Salti, the restaurant’s owner told KPRC 2 photographer Jeovany Luna.
Salti released the footage of the robbers entering the restaurant after shattering the glass door on Instagram, hoping that someone can identify the crooks.
The men made a coordinated effort crawl across the floor to avoid triggering the alarm sensor.
The restaurant doesn’t store cash outside of business hours, so thankfully, the thieves didn’t get away with any money. Instead, they stole unopened bottles of liquor.
This might seem like a bizarre crime, as the restaurant doesn’t even carry higher-end or notably expensive liquors. But Salti told us that he’s seen this type of theft before.
“They did that to another restaurant across the street from us about two or three months ago. Same thing, they stole the liquor. I guess they want to make a quick buck selling those bottles.”
Salti said he isn’t sure how much alcohol they made away with, because they are still going through their inventory and putting the pieces together. He guessed that they made away with somewhere between 15 and 20 bottles.
He also estimated that the repairs from the break-in will cost more to repair than the bottles were actually worth.
Salti wasn’t too shocked by the robbery, and he said that such incidents are par for the course running a business in the area.
“Oh, [robberies happen] all the time. It’s part of doing business here inside the loop in Houston,” he said.
He also had a message for the thieves:
“Get a job. A lot of people are hiring, especially inside Houston. It’s not that hard.”
