Pct. 4 Capt. Jose Garza also verified those reports, telling KPRC 2′s Bryce Newberry that the actual shooting occurred at an apartment complex behind the school, and the victim ran to a grassy area of the school campus after being shot. Capt. Garza also said that the victim was transported to a nearby hospital.
Shortly after the shooting scene was reported, Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman said that the school was secure, and the authorities had shifted their focus to finding the alleged gunman involved.
A short time later, Constable Herman announced that two suspects had been identified and both were arrested. One suspect tried to evade authorities on foot, but both were captured a short time later.
He added that one of the suspects was found to have an unrelated open warrant for felony indecent assault.
The second suspect was found to have an open Felony Warrant for Felony Indecent Assault.
