Authorities in Fort Bend County are searching for a man after his girlfriend was found dead in the home that the couple shared.
Jhon Vanegas Romero, 24, is wanted in connection with the death of his suspected girlfriend, 23-year-old Anyi Montealegre Izquierdo, who was found in their home.

Just after 8:40 a.m. on Oct. 14, deputies with Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home in the 5400 block of FM 762 Rd. in Richmond. When they arrived, they found Izquierdo dead in the home. Romero was nowhere to be found, and the incident is being investigated as a murder from domestic violence.
Monday night, FBCSO received information about Romero’s possible whereabouts. SWAT team officials thoroughly searched the 2200 block of Richmond St. in Needville overnight, but Romero was not found.
