Houston SPCA needs your vote to win $20K for ‘A Lifesaving Haven’ video

The Houston SPCA is calling on the community to help their PSA, “A Lifesaving Haven,” win $20,000 in the 2024 People’s Choice Wagsies Awards.

As the only Texas finalist among four national entries, the organization is urging locals to cast their votes daily until the contest ends at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, September 26.

“A Lifesaving Haven” highlights the inspiring stories of three animals rescued by the Houston SPCA: Sharky, a puppy with a hairband tied around his muzzle; Raven, an emaciated horse in dire need of care; and Hobbs, an animal brought in by the SPCA’s 24-hour ambulance service after being attacked.

The video showcases the Houston SPCA’s life-changing efforts, promoting adoption, fostering, and community engagement.

The Wagsies Awards offers $20,000 to the video with the most votes, with second place receiving $10,000. To vote, supporters can visit hillspet.com/wagsies-awards.
