Police say the first incident happened Sept. 9 at an apartment complex on Aldine Bender Rd. near Greenspoint Drive.

“In that case, the suspect pointed a handgun at the female victim and then sexually assaulted her,” police said.

“The female victim was able to escape from the suspect and run from the location,” police continued. “The suspect then picked up his handgun [captured on video] and fled the location on foot.”

Police believe this man was responsible for another incident on Sept. 12, just half a mile away from the first incident. This was at a different apartment complex on Imperial Valley Dr.

In that case, the woman told police a man came up to her with a gun and demanded her money and phone before placing her in a headlock, nearly suffocating her.

She said the man began to sexually assault her until a witness intervened. The suspect then ran off.
