A man riding a motorcycle has died after falling onto Beltway 8.
The rider’s motorcycle was reportedly laid on its side on West Sam Houston Tollway Northbound at US-290 Northwest. It’s unclear at this time how the driver fell onto the beltway from the above road.

Beltway 8 Southbound to go 290 East Ramp is currently shut down. Authorities are advising drivers to avoid the area, as major delays are expected.
The situation was reported by Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman.
