Cyan has been missing since December 9, 2022, after her mother failed to return her to Craig despite a court order limiting her geographic location.

Cyan’s mother, Domonique Fitzgerald, left Texas, leading to a felony warrant for custodial interference being issued against her on December 14, 2023.

The young girl, who is approximately three feet tall, weighs 31 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes, has not been seen since.

“We had just finished a custody proceeding and had agreed to 50/50 visitation. It was going well for most of 2022,” Craig Amos recounted. “But when the holiday visitation period came, things took a tragic turn. I last saw her on December 9, and when I went to pick her up on December 28, there was no answer at the door.”

Craig said he returned several times, hoping to find his daughter, only to discover on January 6 that the apartment had been abandoned and a cleaning crew was clearing it out.

Since then, Craig has been tirelessly searching for any leads on Cyan’s whereabouts.

“We’ve had a few leads in Florida, but they’ve all gone cold,” Craig shared. “It’s been almost a year, and we’re back at square one. The feeling of failure is overwhelming. As a father, you just want to protect and guide your child, and not knowing where she is or if she’s okay is unbearable.”

Cyan was described by her father as a bubbly child with a love for popcorn, chicken nuggets, and macaroni and cheese.

“She was just coming into her talking and babbling phase, putting words together. It was one of the most entertaining and joyful experiences being her father,” Craig said with a faint smile.

In a heartfelt plea, Craig asked anyone who might have information about Cyan or her mother to reach out to himself or police.

“If anyone knows where my daughter is, please come forward. You don’t have to contact me directly, just report it to the authorities. I just need to know she’s safe,” he said.

Craig also talked about the unique bond he shared with his daughter, emphasizing the irreplaceable nature of a father-daughter relationship.

“Being a parent is one thing, but being a father to a daughter is incredibly special. To have that taken away for no reason is beyond unbearable,” Craig shared.

For now, Craig continues his search, driven by his love for his daughter and the hope that he will see her again.
