After extricating the crash victim, both individuals were airlifted (separately) to a hospital downtown. It’s unclear how the crash occurred and if the victims taken to the hospital were in the same vehicle or different ones. We’re also told by a sergeant with the Fort Bend Co. Sheriff’s Office at the scene that one may have suffered life-threatening injuries.

No additional details have been shared, as of this writing, but an investigation remains underway.
