2 teens accused of killing Houston mother in front of her children now charged

Houston Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of a woman in the 3100 block of Elmside Drive Feb. 23.

Police arrested Leashtain Blanks, 17 and charged him with murder in the 337 State District Court. A second male suspect, 16, has been referred to the Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities on a murder charge.

According to incident reports, HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting and located Isha Goff, 37, had been shot in her vehicle Feb. 23. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation revealed that Goff was going to her residence with her two sons, 13 and 3, when the two suspects approached and fired shots into her vehicle. Her children were not injured.
