Bonfire Wings is serving up delicious chicken in Harris County, sharing food ideas for the Super Bowl

HARRIS COUNTY, TexasSuper Bowl Sunday is the busiest day of the year for many businesses.

“We have been coming here for years. We love the seasoning, the flavor, the options, so we’re big fans,” said Tony Gonzalez.

Bonfire Wings in east Harris County has been open for more than two decades.

“Being in Louisiana, on the Mississippi River, flowing through, the reason we wanted to bring it here is because the river parishes provide such great food. We wanted to open a restaurant, and wings were our jam at that time. We decided to open Bonfire Wings, and it’s been a labor of love,” said Owner Denise Taylor.

Employees have been preparing for the Super Bowl for days and are ready to serve up their wings, boudin and gumbo for the increase of customers.

If you’re making your own wings for the Super Bowl, they say to cook the wings at 350-degrees for 15 minutes and also make sure you use plenty of sauce and seasoning!
