HOUSTON – Christmas Day is behind us already. City of Houston officials are encouraging people to recycle their trees to turn them into mulch or other landscaping materials.
If you would like to recycle your Christmas tree, here are 23 locations you may visit to do so.
To recycle your tree you should remove all lights, tinsel, and ornaments. Trees that are artificial, flocked or painted cannot be recycled.
Your tree can also be picked up through the city’s yard waste curbside collection program.
Where can you drop off your tree?
