HOUSTON – Suicide Prevention Month is in September each year, but awareness of this issue should be front of mind no matter the season.

Mental health struggles can happen to anyone, and money problems like debt, losing a job, or surprise expenses can make things feel even harder. For a lot of people, that kind of stress can feel really lonely and impossible to deal with and sometimes, it can even lead to thoughts of suicide.
