Rowan, the ear piercing studio known for its safe and celebratory piercing experience, has officially opened its newest location at Baybrook Mall in Friendswood.
Located at 700 Baybrook Mall #A107, the new studio offers a welcoming, hygienic space for all ages to get their ear piercings done by licensed nurses. The studio will be open seven days a week, with hours from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Walk-ins are welcome, though appointments are encouraged.

Founder and CEO Louisa Schneider built Rowan with the goal of providing a safe, fun, and hygienic piercing experience, especially for her own daughter.
“I created Rowan because I wanted a piercing experience that was as safe as it was celebratory for my daughter. Ear piercing necessitates expertise, skill, and a keen understanding of hygiene to prevent adverse outcomes like infection and tissue damage” Schneider explained. “That’s why it is important that you choose to get pierced by a medical professional. Coupled with stringent guidelines and training of the Rowan Clinical Piercing Standard, Rowan nurses ensure that ear piercing is safe, hygienic, and worry-free.”
Every Rowan piercing is done by a licensed nurse, following medical guidelines to ensure the highest standards of safety and care. The studio only uses hypoallergenic jewelry made from 14k solid gold, gold vermeil, and sterling silver, ensuring that clients receive the best materials with no risk of allergic reactions.

The studio uses a needle piercing technique or a special hand-pressurized device, never piercing guns.
