Monday’s Forecast:
The dry, less humid pattern continues for the new week. Houston waking up to the upper 60s to low 70s with highs in the low 90s.
Something to keep in mind with the lack of rain is we are pretty dry, elevating fire risk. Rain chances gradually increase later this week for coastal areas. While we all enjoy the sunshine, avoid activities that could spark wildfires.
Tropical outlook:
Hurricane Humberto: Packing winds of 155 mph, moving at 13 mph, about 350 miles from the Leeward Islands. While Humberto isn’t expected to hit land, it’s influencing Tropical Storm Imelda.
Tropical Storm Imelda will continue to turn to the northeast early week as it strengthens to a Hurricane. Check out why this means less impacts for the Carolinas. This means less impacts for The Carolinas Continue to monitor the forecast for additional changes.
There are no tropical systems set to impact the Gulf Coast.
