Will Monday’s weather lead to an open roof at Texans’ home opener?

Monday September 15th, The Texans home opener forecast looks great but will the roof be open?

Texan fans are ready to swarm NRG for the home opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday, Sept. 15. If you are cheering on the Texans, be sure to wear white to match the players’ uniforms.

Many fans are asking, “What is the weather ?” and “Will the roof be open?”

The Forecast:

The weather will cooperate on Monday, staying rain-free as fans fill NRG parking lots to tailgate.

The heat and humidity aren’t going anywhere. While you grill hamburgers, expect temperatures in the mid-90s. So drink plenty of water between brews.

Temperatures will slowly fall out of the 90s by the end of the game, and then temperatures will be in the mid-80s.

Closed or Open Roof?:

The weather looks great for an open roof at NRG, but the Texans have not announced whether it will open on Monday.
