Houston’s forecast brings rising humidity and hotter temperatures, a trend expected to continue into the weekend.
Weekend Forecast:
This weekend will feel like summer, it’ll be perfect for the pool! We will have temperatures in the mid-90s with high humidity and partly cloudy skies.
We will likely have an ozone action day every day through the weekend. The combination of sunny skies, warm temperatures, and light winds could create air quality issues. Those sensitive to air quality might want to limit afternoon outdoor activities.
Tropical outlook:
There is one region in the Atlantic that has a 0% chance of formation in the next 2 days and a 40% (medium) chance of development in the next 7 days. With its positioning, we aren’t concerned about this for at least another week.
Nothing to worry about now, but some long-range models are looking to spin up a weak open low-pressure system by the end of the week. We’ll keep a watch on it.
