Tuesday will be another warm day, but the humidity will begin to increase! This means we will be humid and the sea breeze rain chances will return. Rain chances are possible by the coast in the morning, with afternoon pop-ups possible for the afternoon commute.
Just like Monday, an air quality alert is in place for Harris, Galveston and Brazoria counties on Tuesday.
Rain chances increasing:
Tuesday evening, rain chances increase as a Canadian cold front approaches SE Texas. The front won’t bring any major cool-downs to SE Texas, but it will increase rain chances.
Wednesday looks like the wettest day of the week as the front begins to stall across the Gulf Coast. Rain chances do not drop off until Labor Day.

Otherwise there are no regions for possible development. There is are no tropical threats to the Gulf at this time. Cherish this moment, it’s rare for late-August.
