Saturday Forecast:
Showers and thunderstorms started off near the coast, by the afternoon more rain possible inland but it does not look like a wash-out. However, any storm could bring downpours that may lead to ponding.

Sunday’s Forecast:
Thunderstorm chances possible near the coast in the morning and move inland during the afternoon Sunday. Overall storms and shower chances are isolated to spotty has deeper moisture moves off shore.
The decrease in shower and storms continue through the early week before rain chances increase mid-week.
6th named storm forms:
Tropical Storm Fernand formed Saturday evening- this is the 6th named storm of the 2025 hurricane season.
It will maintain tropical storm status as it moves north across the Atlantic. Bermuda and coastal Canada can expect high swells.
There is are no tropical threats to the Gulf at this time.

Sunday and Monday will be quieter with an isolate sea breeze storm possible. Rain chances return mid-week as moisture increases again across SE Texas.
