Clouds linger over SE Texas Saturday after rounds of scattered showers and storms. Thunderstorm chances will slowly come to end closer to sunset.

Rain chances continue Sunday but the , coverage will be less compared to the last two days. Sunday morning expect mostly dry conditions, by the afternoon hit and miss storms begin to form.
Sunday evening a better chance for downpours.

Erin is now a category 5 hurricane, the first of the 2025 hurricane season.
Erin will keep major hurricane status until Thursday. Thankfully Erin will not make landfall anywhere instead it will get pushed east away from land.
Erin will bring indirect to Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands through the Bahamas as it presses northwest. Some areas could pick up 6 inches. Another indirect impact will be large swells creating dangerous rip currents from the Caribbean to the East Coast as Erin moves North.
