Sunday’s Forecast:

Rain chances continue Sunday but the , coverage will be less compared to the last two days. Sunday morning expect mostly dry conditions, by the afternoon hit and miss storms begin to form.

Erin is now a category 5 hurricane, the first of the 2025 hurricane season.

A well defined eye on Hurricane Erin

Erin will keep major hurricane status until Thursday. Thankfully Erin will not make landfall anywhere instead it will get pushed east away from land.

A Category 5 storm through the weekend

Erin will bring indirect to Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands through the Bahamas as it presses northwest. Some areas could pick up 6 inches. Another indirect impact will be large swells creating dangerous rip currents from the Caribbean to the East Coast as Erin moves North.
