Back to School:
Class will be in session for many students this week! As you head to bus stop you might run into some showers and storms.
Monday morning storms start near the coast and continue to move inland by 9 AM.
The afternoon and evening rain chances decrease becoming more hit and miss instead of widely scattered.
The daily rain chances continue through the first week of school. Since most days won’t be a complete wash out, still gear up for high heat and humidity.
Tracking the tropics, tracking the Gulf:
A tropical wave off the coast of Africa continues to gain strengthen it has a high chance of development. Formation chance is 50% for the next two days, rising to 90% over the next 7 days.
At this time, this storm system is not expected to impact the Gulf coast over the next week.
