We might not reach record highs this week, but it will still be as hot as last week, in the upper 90s.
This afternoon’s forecast:
Please stay safe in this heat and drink plenty of water.
Clouds will start to move back in by late day, there’s a small (very small) chance to see some isolated showers pop across our far eastern counties.
Rain Returns:
Once high pressure moves out of Texas, moisture returns, increasing rain chances late week into the weekend. Some of these storms could carry a chance for some heavier downpours by the weekend.

However, we’re just now getting into the statistical uptick of the tropical season. In fact, we’re starting to see some indication that we’ll have more activity as we get into the month of August.
