Thursday’s forecast:

Tracking the tropics:

There is no tropical activity expected in the next seven days. There is an indication a storm may try and form in the northeastern Gulf in a week and half. That’s Saturday July 19. The chance is 10%, we’ll watch it for you.

Your 10-Day Forecast:

Temperatures are expected to stay consistent across Houston, with highs sticking to the lower to mid-90s through the weekend and beyond.

We have almost daily chances of storms with the possibility of a slightly drier weather pattern next week. It’s been a few year’s since we’ve had a summer weather patten like this but this is what a normal summer pattern looks like in Houston. A daily chance of storms with temps in the lower and mid-90s. The triple digit heat we’ve had the past several summers was from drought and an extremely dry weather pattern.
