Southeastern Mexico has the potential to see 6 to 8 inches of rain, with some higher amounts closer to 10 inches, leading to extreme flooding and mudslides.

Barry has no direct impacts on SE Texas besides kicking up tropical moisture towards the Texas Gulf Coast, which has helped increase rain chances on Sunday and Monday. On Monday, Houston begins to dry out, but tropical downpours are likely across South Texas.
